Check List

Well now, lets make an updated check list shall we? Seems how I got the tiaras for the girls, and I got the bridesmaids gifts, Davids picture is framed and looks great! My bridal picture is done and framed as well. I got to say that it is HUGE! I didn't realize how just massive a 16x20 is. The rose pedals are purchased, we got a big container of red pedals, a medium container of black and a small container of white. I think that will compliment the black isle runner quite nicely.

So that just leaves....

01. Pick up the tuxes on Wednesday the 12th

02. Get dress cleaned on Friday the 7th

03. Get garter

04. Get twelve 4x6 picture frames

05. Get a card holder

Now that's it!!! Wahoo. Wednesday morning my mom(maybe?) stepmom and sisters are going to go get a mani/pedi to make sure we are nicely groomed before the wedding, kinda a nice way to relax for a little while before the big day!

10 DAYS!

Did you all hear?

Did you hear? John and I's wedding is doomed! Its going to be a total mess, and we will just get divorced in a few years anyways, according to one sister of mine who has been removed from the wedding. I had one of the hardest days of my life yesterday. But I already have a much better and happier choice already in place. So thank you Amanda you truly are the best friend I always knew you were and sister that I wish I had instead of the one who said such hurtful things to me yesterday. I knew this whole time what she (the sister who shall not be named because just the look of her name makes me sick to my stomach) would do when the wedding was closing in on us. She just proved to everyone all over again that she is selfish, vindictive, vengeful, hateful, and a jealous person who feels the need to try to bring people down to her level just to make herself feel better about the situation. I have so many emotions going through me right now that I just don't even know how to deal with them. I'm sad, hurt, stressed, disgusted, and most of all LIVID! I don't deserve this and she knew that but who cares about my feelings, her daughters feelings, and the rest of the family. This is the last time she will ever hurt me, or even have a chance to. If there were a legal action to have someone disowned I would start the paper work today. The worst part about all of this is I will never see my nephew, even less than I do now. It makes me sick. But you know what I do get some satisfaction knowing that she has to live with her guilt and her corrupted conscience for the rest of her life and quite frankly that will be like a prison to her. I'm done with this, I'm moving on. My life will be better off.

The list of stuff to do!

We only have 2 weeks till the wedding (btw yay!) so I thought I could share what all we still had left to do. That and as I make this list I can refer back to it so I can make sure I don't forget anything ;).
01. I need to get my dress cleaned on the 7th. ( It got filthy during my bridals)
02. We need to pick up the tuxes on Wednesday the 12th.
03. Go get the rose pedals for the flower girls.
04. Get the tiaras for the flower girls from Michael's, for 4 bucks each! What a steal, plus I have a coupon for 40% off any item!
05. Get a card holder from walmart, They have some cute ones for way cheap.
06. Get David's picture framed.
07. Get overnight bag ready for when we leave the wedding reception.
08. Get my enlarged bridal picture framed.

09. Get my garter. 

10. Get 12 4x6 picture frames for each table at reception.

Well I think that's it, or can think of. If I think of more I will come in and edit this and update it.
14 days and counting!

Marriage License has been purchased!

We went and got our marriage license today! So we are technically married now. Wahoo!!!

Now we have 30 days from today to get it processed. Then we can get to the good stuff, like changing names. We also have gotten the menu for the rehearsal dinner taken care of and chosen.

MENU:

Chicken Salad Croissants

Potato Salad

Fruit Tray

Veggie Tray

Pasta Salad

Chips and Dip

Sound good? It's definitely not fancy but it's easy enough to get done after the rehearsal is done.

I didn't think we would want to come back after the rehearsal at 6 and just start to cook when we have such an early morning and some people live farther away than others. We have had a lot of offers on helping with the food, so thank you from all of you who are helping. It means a lot to us. I can't wait to see everyone! See you all in 17 days, some sooner than that! ;)

Fun stuff !!!

Hello, Hello!, HELLO everyone!

I have 2 things, First is just something I wanted to say.

So now that we are like 3 weeks to the wedding we are just winding down from it all and getting more and more excited with each passing day. Tying up loose ends. Well really that just means now we get to pay for it all now. Get to shell out the big bucks. :)

I really have been enjoying this process, the good, the bad, and ugly. I've definitely got to see sides of people that I didn't know they had. I have really sat back and really put a lot of thought into John and I, and how are lives will forever be changed by this and all for the better I believe. He and I are both far from perfect but I think we compliment each other and pick up the difference in one another. I totally have come to realize he has made himself a huge part of my heart and I thank god that he decided he wanted me forever cause I don't know what I would do with out him. I would be in pieces. I'm not sure anyone else would put up with the responsibility and the total reality of what comes with me. I'm pretty sure anyone else would have bailed. I can't believe it , that it's coming ( the wedding) so soon. It seems like just yesterday that he proposed. Though this has been one stressful process, I don't think I would change it. Thank you, all of you for helping with this. Being there when we needed you to be. We are forever grateful.

Now the 2nd thing is about the rehearsal.

This part is specifically for the parents, and wedding party.

The Rehearsal is Wednesday the 12th at 5:00 pm at the Canterbury place, 197 East 500 South Bountiful, Utah 84010

Once everyone is there I can't imagine it going longer than 45 minutes to and hour. Then immediately after that is finished we will be having a rehearsal dinner at my dads. All of John's family is welcome to come to that. And I will email the individual people in mine that are welcome to attend as well. My dads address is 872 West Porter Lane (2200 north) West Bountiful, Utah 84087. As of right now we don't have a menu to post about. However we are leaning towards a BBQ. Or something along the lines of one. When we have nailed down the details I will post more on that subject.

Invitations are MAILED!

So some exciting news! We have mailed the invitations today! So keep an eye out for them next week! I made sure I got them out today, and that sure did mean licking each envelope sticky thing to seal it till the taste of the solution they use for that is now permanently rotting in my mouth. Disgusting I know! But I had to get it done! So they are heading your way as we speak! :)
