This is the boutonnier for the groomsmen! The stem will be wrapped in red ribbon and the grass you see around it will be painted silver or grey. It kinda sounds weird with the paint but trust me it looks amazing!
Now this is the idea for the bridesmaids except it is only one flower instead of 3. Again the ribbon will red around it and the grass stuff again will be painted silver or grey. Pretty don't you think? I love it. I went yesterday evening to meet with the florist! We got everything picked out, detailed the way I wanted it, added some color to them, so that part is done til the wedding! (she gave me a phenomenal price!) I am going with all calla lilies, My bouquet will look pretty much exactly like the photo I posted a while ago. The bridesmaids are going to carry a single big white calla lily with red ribbon wrapped all along the stem. The boutonnieres are also white with the red ribbon. Same with the corsages for the mothers. It's going to look great! I can't wait to see them finished! I will post the pictures of the bridesmaids and groomsmen stuff after I'm done with this so you can get an idea about what they will look like! Hope to talk to you all soon! So I have the actual times set! The ceremony will be held at 1:30-3:00. (For picture purposes mostly) and the reception will be from 4:00-7:00. So it should make for a good day hopefully!Another topic I wanted to mention is for John's family coming in from out-of town my dad has offered his house for you to go to in between the two for that hour. Any of you are welcome to just go straight there for the time being till the reception starts. The reception is being held there anyways. So I found this florist who is going to give me an amazing deal on calla lilies. Which are usually pretty expensive! We are way under budget with flowers so that made me extremely happy. We can use that extra money on another needed expense. If you don't know what they look like google them. They are really pretty flowers, one of my favorites!
So for everyone coming in from out of town there is a hotel that is directly across from our apartments that people can stay in when you come for the wedding. The reception center is like 5 miles away from this too if anyone is interested. Oh you might need the name of the hotel! :)
It's called Country Inn & Suites. I looked up the rate per night for during the week and it was $89.10, now I don't know how or when you guys are coming but I thought I could post that. We would offer our house but it's really small and only a 2 bedroom but we don't have an extra bed :(

Ok we go tonight at 5:15 to be exact to book Canterbury! It's going to be fabulous! I can't wait to start on other areas in the planning process. I found a really good deal on catering! So hopefully it tastes as good as the price! We still need a photographer and videographer. Those I'm being a little more picky about. I want to make sure we get what we pay for and as I am seeing these prices I'm for sure going to be certain they are great at their jobs! Anywho.... that's all I have for you for now. Maybe I will have something more interesting next week!

Well yesterday I went and looked at a reception center called The Canterbury Place, it was unbelievably beautiful. It was perfect!!! I think it might be the one. Which is very exciting because that means we can start on the other plans with the wedding! Hello people!
We decided, well I did John probably doesn't care. Anyway I decided to do it so I could keep people updated easier with out all the phone calls! Plus it's fun :). I will post pictures of my bridals and our engagement photos as soon as we get them done. So far nothing much has happened. We are looking for a place to have the wedding and that's pretty much it. We don't have alot of money to spend for the wedding so we are having a little bit of a harder time finding a reception center. We have a few appointments to go look at some locations this week so hopefully we will find something soon! Keep your fingers crossed! Talk to you soon.
